Are you contributing to make changes using your expertise? You are then offering "Pro-bono Services"
“Pro-bono” means people who contribute to solving social issues using their own expertise. Different from volunteering which is irrelevant with one’s occupation, the fact that they use their professional job skills to contribute to society makes them special. While it is commonly restricted to legal service, the ‘Pro-bono Service’ that we define include expertise from broader area. Experts from various areas such as IT, Accounting, Marketing, Business Strategy and such can contribute to society by using their expertise.
People who are interested in pro-bono often find people who agrees with them, shares the value, and organizes an association or club to enlarge its influence. It would be their ultimate goal to make the pursuit of social value as not a special thing to do, but as something natural.

“I could feel the passion of the Root Impact members since when we contracted MOU and planned a legal service lecture called ‘Law-’ckin Roll’ with Root Impact. When I visited Seongsu-dong for ‘Law-’ckin Roll’ lecture, I realized that the passion of the ones who run social ventures was not different from that of Root Impact members. That passion encouraged us to participate in this cooperative project with authenticity. We, Jipyeong and Duroo will do our best to minimize the legal obstacles that social ventures in Seongsu-dong faces.” -Youngjin Kim, Lawyer
